It was like I hoped. Had a very similar feel to the West Texas game. Mines came out much more composed in the second half. The penalties on both sides made it an unattractive brand of football but it was good to get out with the win.

All due respect to Grand Valley but Angelo was a tougher opponent. Mines struggled with their size and they did a good job of taking away the short bubble screen type passes which is Mines’s bread and butter.

Did Angelo allow CSM to score on purpose?

No. They looked deflated by that point. It was an off tackle run with a few broken tackles.

Besides that put Mines up two scores. It woul not have made sense for them

And CSUP got ball first in overtime and promptly scored, up 49-42. Can their defense get a stop to win?

EDIT..... No!!!!! Both teams start overtime with 25 yard touchdown passes. My God.........

GV scored a TD again... I think maybe on the first play again. 55-49. They have to go for 2 but it won't update if successful or not.

Overtime.... 3. offensive plays 3 touchdowns. I don't think I have ever seen anything like it..... GV 2 points is good.

I think CSUP should have went for 2 at the end of regulation.

Listened to the end of the csup game. Was a crazy, high scoring deal.

Not at all surprised by the late score to push it to overtime. Fuller is a wizard in those situations. .

Two GIGANTIC out of conference wins for CSM. Probably should be ranked number 1 in the country.

Or maybe #2 behind Ferris as they had a close win over Ashland today.

While the Ashland-Ferris score line made Ferris look mortal, I saw none of the game. I would love it if Mines were number 1 but for me, especially after last year, it’s Ferris at #1 until someone proves they aren’t.

GV has got a real big problem. They secondary is horrendous and teams know it. They give you the first 8 yards for free on every pass play. And if you go over the top against anyone besides their top corner, then the DB isn't gonna turn their head and you're probably gonna catch it.
