    They sure were.

Not going back too far, Ron Righter had some really strong teams there -- highlighted by that 2001 PSAC Title.

I'd be pretty surprised if Coach Williams survives this off-season. He's having a pretty rough run. You'd think they'd want a little buzz heading in to their big renovation project.

    91-80 Edinboro with 2:36 remaining.

Jaymon Mason needs 50 points to become Edinboro's all-time leading scorer. His father Tyrone is the current record holder.

48-43 Edinboro at the break. Rock hit a 3 at the buzzer. Jaymon had a great half.

    No just teasing Reynolds.

Boro up 30-20 with 7:51 remaining in the first half.

Assuming you're talking about Micah Till. Good question. He had a ton of offers.

He had a little baggage. He was 'dismissed' from the NC State football program. Not sure why.

IUP didn't offer him but took one of his Harford teammates.

Part of it is he needs to play in the right offense and Slippery Rock offers him that ... he wouldn't be a good fit in a fast-paced, up-and-down game. SRU's tempo is a perfect fit.

He plays with a chip on his shoulder -- much like Reynolds coaches.

Get used to him ... gonna be there for awhile. He's a major force. You can't move him under the basket and he has a nice outside shot.

If Edinboro can control the pace tonight -- speed it up -- SRU will tire out. Fall in to their trap and Rock will win.

Aaron McDonald was injured in the IUP game. No word on his status. He's a big loss for SRU.

I'll take the Boro. They've been playing much better of late just can't allow it to be close enough to lose on another buzzer beater.

I can't figure out how a kid would choose to play at Slippery Rock with that YMCA gym and a town that doesn't even have a Walmart.

Boy, after Clarion, the next two home games against Edinboro and CalU are HUGE for IUP.

Edinboro has now lost four games in the final seconds. Literally. The Fighting Scots have lost to Gannon (0.4 seconds left), Kutztown (0.8 seconds), IUP (1.7 seconds) and Mercyhurst (13.2 seconds). Four defeats in 16.1 combined seconds of clock.
Holy crap. And UPJ tied the game at Boro at the buzzer.
