Pending any "team exits" or the Aussie twins going back home... this will be the most returning players Gannon has had since some point in Reillys era. 8 possible.

One thing I will say is hes very creative at the hoop and when hes on... hes on. Even off days he was more on than most others - but again weak competition

His brother was actually a better all around player than Avery (and played better competition) and he barely played at Boro

Seton Hill vs California - One thing has become abundantly clear: there are two versions of the Vulcans. At times, they have a go-through-the-motions persona. That version has lost to lowly teams like Clarion and Edinboro -- and got them blown out at home by Slippery Rock. Then, of course, there is the fully engaged edition, which can be one of the better teams in the Atlantic Region on a given night. Case in point: the Vulcans struggled in the first meeting this year against Seton Hill before pulling away late to claim a 9-point win. The second meeting, the Vulcans won by 35 points. Sure, these are different Griffins all the sudden. Seton Hill has won 5 straight, including a massive road upset of East No. 1 seed Millersville. March basketball is all about matchups. The Griffins just don't match up well with the Vulcans. Cal has too much speed and size. Round 3 is likely to be somewhere in the middle. But, the Vulcans win regardless -- so long as they are correct in between the ears. Cal -8.5

IUP at Gannon - The angle Joe Lombardi is going to pitch to his team tomorrow is they played Gannon just about point for point for the final 32 minutes a week ago. Of course, the problem was they got completely smoked the first 8 minutes. The Knights couldn't miss a shot to start the game. IUP couldn't make one. It took Lombardi forever (almost the entire season) to scrap his ineffective press and actually start playing his best lineups. The Crimson Hawks should go up to Erie with some confidence tomorrow. Can they win? Highly unlikely. Can they keep it under 21 points? Maybe. Gannon -20.5

WOMEN'S (for the extreme gambling addicts)

Edinboro vs IUP - The Crimson Hawks swept the regular season series -- roughing up the Scots in the KCAC, and then hung on in McComb for a 6-point win. On a neutral floor, IUP is clearly favored in this game, but, by how much? One item to watch: IUP coach Craig Carey's weakness is working officials. He's not good at it. Edinboro's Callie Wheeler is probably the best in the country at it. That may not seem like a big thing, but in what should be a very close game ... a call here or there can go a long way. IUP -3.5

Seton Hill at Gannon - The Knights swept the season series - blowing out the Griffins in Erie and later winning in Greensburg by 11 points. Seton Hill lives and dies by the trey -- and Gannon is very hard to shoot against from the outside. Add in an inspired home crowd, and it's highly likely the brooms are coming out for the season sweep. GU -9.5
I hope Ganno men takes the upset so Chuck Pora shuts the hell up!

8 more points to hit 1,000 for Pace as a sophomore. And Lucas Morgan quietly hit 1,000 tonight too.

Jeff's gonna have a long ride home 🤞🏻

I keep wondering if this is gonna be an all West PSAC tourney in Erie this weekend. Can IUP pull it off??

I thought Seton Hill would snatch defeat from the arms of victory with their free throw shooting.
