Last week ended with a bunch of the top teams losing. This week has started the same.

The Top 8 go to the dance. Conference Tournament Champions get an automatic bid -- which can cause a lot of chaos.

The Updated MEN's Atlantic Race (8 losses remaining the cut) -- in order of total losses only:

    IUP (13-2, 18-2)
    Shippensburg (14-2, 18-4)
    West Liberty (12-3, 17-4)
    Charleston (11-4, 17-4)
    Pitt-Johnstown (12-4, 18-5)
    Fairmont State (10-5, 15-5)
    West Virginia State (10-5, 15-5)
    Fayetteville State (6-6, 17-6)
    Virginia State (9-2, 16-7)
    California (11-5, 15-7)
    Mercyhurst (11-5, 13-7)
    West Chester (9-7, 15-7)
    Johnson C. Smith (7-4, 13-7)
    Winston-Salem State (10-2, 13-8)
    Glenville State (10-5, 13-8)
    East Stroudsburg (9-7, 13-8)
    Wheeling (7-7, 10-8)

Making some noise just outside the cut-off: Gannon, Bowie State, Virginia Union, Millersville

Looks like some of the juice predicted for the regionally televised WLU-UC match-up on Sunday just got poured out by both WVSU & Wheeling.

Warrior Men go up by 15 at Bloom at the half before the Huskies storm back to within 6, but the ESU holds off the late rally and eventually wins by 11. The Warriors also have road wins against Kutztown, Shippensburg and West Chester. They're gearing up for the playoffs and will be a tough matchup anywhere in the postseason!

Well, they didn't want to put us in, so they certainly wasted no time getting us out.

I'd agree as of now Virginia State is still in the running. That said, they best not take too many more losses in the regular season.

And, of course, right on schedule here comes Bowie State. Everything always makes sense until some 12-loss team wins the CIAA Tournament and throws everything out of whack.

Lot of head-to-head games remaining among the better teams in the PSAC and MEC.

I good to see 3 CIAA teams in the top 8! I can't wait for NCAA tournament.

Amazing how top-heavy the women's race it. 17-4 and 16-4 teams are on the bubble.
