I think they do ok in football.

They went out with a thud there too...third place in the MEC this year...last MEC game was a 21-16 loss at home to "perennial powerhouse" UVA Wise!!

Never looked like he figured out there were two ends to a basketball court. He was really good at one end but totally disinterested at the other.

Great shooter who refused to pass or play D. As the saying goes, never saw a shot he didn't like!

I think that if Ben had seen some degree of effort to learn how to play WLUs style (pressure D and a willingness to pass to an open teammate, hed probably still be here because his offensive prowess is great. But he just didnt seem to care or even try to play D beyond the occasional swat at players as the dribbled by.

He'll find a place for his SR year and depending on the team, may put up pretty good offensive numbers. Beyond that as Columbus said, he'll be the "king of the playground" till he's 30.

It's hard to say without having his side of the story. He's from D.C. The Hilltop would feel like being on Pluto for a city kid.

What stinks for him is it's a wasted year of eligibility. WL just wasted money. Sucks for both sides.

Women's semi at the end of 1 quarter:

#1 Glenville State leads #4 West Lib 22-15.

GS is playing with tons of energy and speed today. It is a frantic pace which favors them as this game goes on. A lot of game left though.

Glenville up 44-33 at the half.

End of 3rd quarter: Glenville State leads 75-59. Credit West Lib, it was 72-47 with under 2 to go in the quarter. It looked like the rout was on. But they finished the quarter with a 12-3 run. Still a lot of ground to make up.

West Lib has really chipped away....83-74 with over 5 minutes to play. This is a game now.
