If there’s one position IUP has plenty of artillery it’s guard. I liked Stewart for his ability to go off on occasion and have a big night, but it seemed clear down the stretch he wasn’t part of the long-term plan.

    He's a guard.

Regardless, it was time for him to move along.

This is my guess and I have no information to base it on to be clear so we’re not starting rumors.

Ship apparently has gotten a commitment from 6-6 combo forward David Dorsey III of Frederick, Md. Kid looks as if he has some skills.

It figured some of the guards might hit the portal after this past season and that has proven the case. Look for 6-3 redshirt freshman Najeh Allen to get some minutes. He played against good high school competition in the Baltimore Catholic League. They'll also have highly regarded Jaydon Smith, a 6-5 guard from Carlisle coming in. And of course there's always the possibility of transfers etc., these days. However it falls, the roster will definitely have a different and taller look next season.

    Jaden Faulkner / Millersville.

Assuming a grad transfer. That's a big one.

I'd guess he's going up to the land of low-major.

I'd have to say so far the star of the bunch has to be Concord's J.J. Harper. He can score as a 6'5" guard but is also a relentless, high energy defender.

He'd be a huge signing for any D2 team but I have to wonder if that's his intention. I'd guess he's going mid-major.

Still (oddly) nothing out of Indiana yet.
It’s so boring around here right now, LOL. We need something to talk about but then I’m reminded to be careful about what I wish for!

Gannon has signed Layne Sarver (6'6", 195 lbs) -- a shooting guard transfer from Union. Sarver is from New Madison, OH. He started 21 of 22 games.

This past season he averaged about 8 ppg and 3 rpg. He did shoot 45% from outside on 92 attempts.

It appears he has two years' eligibility remaining.
Gannon also received a commitment from high school senior, Lucas Sekasi, a 6-5 point guard from Jackson Reed H.S. in Washington, DC
