What can anyone tell me about this kid - looks like he was at Moorhead last year - but now on roster at UIU. Seems like he had a stellar high school career, but didn't see much time last year: http://uiupeacocks.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=4455

Not sure he had an assist in his high school career playing against smaller MN schools. His high school was a pure run-and-gun team that played a lot of weak competition. He isn't a pg, and pretty small for sg. Not real athletic either. Don't know what happened with Moorhead, but believe it was looking very unlikely that there would minutes available to him in future years given the talent on roster and recruits/jucos coming in. He can certainly shoot it a bit. Just not sure he is big enough or athletic enough to be real impact player in the future. I've certainly been wrong before.

Thanks for the info - just hadn't heard about this kid transferring - wondering if he got a release or has to sit this year? UIU brought in a few good freshman and have 3 guys that redshirted last year. Wonder if UIU had recruited him out of HS and had a relationship with him prior.

He played a little last year as a true freshman and is listed as redshirt from on uiu site - so it appears he will likely sit this year.. don't know specifics.

has to sit this year as a transfer within the NSIC - can count as a redshirt if he has the redshirt year available
