  • Speaking of other NSIC names from the recent past…

Parker Fox said this morning he really wanted to go to Augustana, that was his first choice. But they never offered.

Texas Tom was wise in not offering that injury riddled, belligerent, SOB, who would had transferred anyway.

        • It was shared on FB this afternoon that Jeff Fylling passed away earlier today after a battle with Leukemia. He's an Augustana legend that was taken from us too soon.

The MSU women’s broadcast mentioned that as well. Way too soon

This is really sad. Along with decades of being the voice of Augie athletics, the Vikings lost a human encyclopedia (human library, honestly) of Augustana Athletics history and knowledge that probably won't ever be replaced. To say he will be missed would be an understatement.

Just got home from Mankato. So sad to read that Jeff had died. Great guy.

MSU had a moment of silence for Jeff on Saturday.

As did Northern. I'm wondering if everyone across the NSIC did so this weekend.

                          • Has anyone heard if Caden Hinker is coming back next year? I assumed he would but see he will be honored at senior day tomorrow which now makes it seem unlikely.

JJ Hartigan says he will be back for the 26/27 season.

                              • Sam Rensch with the Senior Day of his dreams. He was a flame thrower in the second half hung 37 on the Coo in front of the best Elmen crowd in years. Vikings lock up the NSIC Tourney 2 seed and a Saturday night game at the 'Gon.
