I'd prefer not to lose to Pitt to find out if the info is correct but I feel pretty confident in the source. That said, it wasn't a guarantee that NW would host, just highly likely regardless of what NW does in tourney.

NSU can't host due to state tourney that was moved to Aberdeen. Incorrectly reported by our local writer, but regardless, we can't host there. NSU worked a deal to put in a bid to host at the only available venue in Sioux Falls, Augie's unused Elmen.

Means nothing if NW is still the number one come Sunday night, so wasnt TOTALLY serious, but yes, possible.

                  Thanks.

It should not be allowed to happen. Emporia State's women's team has lost the chance to host twice because White Auditorium was hosting the state championship. Isn't it three hours from Aberdeen to Sioux Falls?

I believe you can put in a bid for any facility. While crowd size would be much less and limited for space, it is closer to most the other schools. Even if NSU ends up #1 That doesn't mean they will accept the bid. Emporia could have and may have done the same thing with a different location.

I always heard kids talking about it in school, we just didn't have internet until my senior year. Ha

That said, Cliff Notes has an incredible inside presence. Don't be deceived by his small size, he can really fill it up in the lane. Shows you on the court, not much for words. Great get for anyone looking to get a solid signee with not much time left in the process.

Very impressive showing by #3 Washburn in their 75-65 win over #6 INK. Cameron Wiggins was on fire with 27.
