Tip of the cap to Washburn. Truly a really good team and a great season - finished with 8 losses of which 5 were to Northwest and Southern. Vs the Lions they were only outscored by 4 total points but went 0-2. Had this game been 41 minutes long, who knows?

Shifting gears, had this game had a good officiating crew the result would've been different too. Can't say for sure how, but I don't think we've had two guys foul out of a game since 2018. If those 10 whistles were all fouls, then you'd think they'd blow the pea when guys are pounding big Cam's arms. He's so strong they just let it go.

Lastly, Washburn lost to a blazing hot outside shooting performance. Could they have contested better? Of course, but it ain't that easy when you're guarding the bucket, the drives, and big Cam drills 9 of 10 3-pointers.

Big relief to have held on and won this one.

46 for the big guy? I was very impressed in the two games he played in Mankato against MSU & SCSU.

NSU killing SE at their own game. Southeastern has won a ton of games this year by dominating the three point line. Totally the other way in this one. 8-12 for NSU, 2-6 for SE late in the half.

Playing defense helps. This Northern squad can man up. The score seems a lot closer than the scoreboard says. Should be an exciting second half.

It is sad how terrible the officiating has got. I've said it before on here but it seems these guys just can't keep up with the speed and physicality of the game. You'd just hope at the NCAA tourney we'd at least have the best.
