Trying to remember, but NSU at the line with a 3 point lead with I think 7 sec. All you need is to make one of two freethrows. Wasn't that an 80% shooter at the line? He misses both and allows SE to tie the game. Wow!

Nope. He was 91.4% for the season and had missed only 5 all year. Went back and looked as I had thought the announces stated he was over 90% for the year. Unbelievable. Couple that with turnovers and that spelled disaster for NSU. Had the game in the bag and failed to execute.

Fwiw, everyone said Mankato was checked out coming into the tournament. They look to be competing from my perspective. NW can't get to that point to put them away. They just aren't as good of a team right now.

Agree. But if they lose, which they will, they do no worse than conference champions Northern State.
