While it's possible that Bennett is ready, normal ACL recovery is 6-9 months, but more likely 9 to get back the knee back to as stable as it was prior to the injury. His surgery was at the beginning of March... 9 months would be in December. I think it would be miraculous if he's at full strength for the beginning of the basketball season. I'm not saying you're wrong, D1 could be off the table for him for a number of reasons, but I don't think transfer rules are one of them... he may choose to or have to sit a year anyway. That said, everything I've heard from people that know him is that he'd like to come to Northwest if it works out.
