Big win for the Vikings and a strong weekend overall, particularly going 2 games without Cartwright and 1.5 games without LeBrun, who is arguably our best all-around player, even if he doesn't have show-stopping stats. Hoping we can keep it going when we're on the road for the second straight week in Mankato.

After Parkers day ended the Wolves increased their lead and win 64-51. Pride in defense seems to be the theme...while I thought we'd be much better offensively.

UIU wins 110-106 in OT over SCSU. UIU controlled game through the first 30 minutes, up 11 at half extended to 15-16 in second half, but SCSU hung in there and made a run and almost pulled it out in regulation. 6 in double figures for UIU lead by Williams with 26, Duax 19, Smoldt 18, Hilmer 16 and 9 assists, Jones 12, and Noenning with 10. We can put up the points, but as good as D we played last night it was a bit lacking in last 10 minutes. SCSU scrapped though would have been easy to lay down when down by 15, have to give them credit for picking it up on offense and hitting some great shots to claw back into it. 2-0 start is a great way to start season - after watching this weekend it's going to be tough for each team having to play back to back.
