Okay Wolves, do just enough to wear the Ichabods out without making them mad with a loss, please and thank you.

Geiman went down early with an injury for Washburn and judging by the radio call it didn't sound good.

Wolves down 2 at the half, 31-29. Neither team is shooting the ball particularly well. NSU is getting to the FT line to keep themselves in the game. It kind of sounds like your typical early season chaotic game, which is probably a good thing for Northern in this one. Geiman going down has certainly changed this game. I can't wait until I actually get to watch Moni in person. He is going to be a stud.

Washburn looked very good ... especially in the second half. This team is going to be one tough out, especially when Geiman is healthy.

I'm not going to worry too much about the result today. It was kind of in line with my expectations. Everyone on the board for this region knew that Washburn is one of the better teams in the country. It was a little disappointing that they were able to handle the Wolves this easily without Geiman though. NSU plays another good team tomorrow so we will see if they are able to bounce back like they did last weekend, albeit against a Rockhurst team that is not very good.

UIU dispatches of MO Southern in easy fashion 96-83, never a doubt as the Peacocks lead by 16 at half. Jareese Williams with 28 and Emporia St. Xfer Nick Reid with 20.

It's weird that today's schedule has 7 GAC vs. NSIC games, 8 MIAA vs. NSIC games, but just one GAC vs. MIAA game.

The Peacocks are gonna be a problem in the NSIC again this year. Jareese Williams might be the scariest player in the conference when he is on, which is quite often.

Where is this Rosner kid coming from? He averaged 7.5 ppg last year and he already has 26 with 12 minutes to go.
