  • Early mock regional rankings

    For now, I'm mostly using a formula that takes into account winning percentage, SOS, Performance Indicator, and in-region RPI, but sometimes adjusting based on head-to-head and other factors. Note that at this point in the season, there's a huge disparity in games played against D2 opponents: Daemen has played 17 games, whereas Southwest Baptist has only played 6. The fewer games a team has played, the more volatile its numbers are.

                  Findlay and Lees–McRae are both much lower in RPI. As for Johnson C. Smith, they were ninth in my raw numbers but I bumped them down to 11th in favor of two teams with better wins.
