    3. AB
    4. D&E
    5. TNU
    6. Malone
    7. OVU

AB and D&E might be interchangeable. I think D&E is probably about as good as they will be, while AB will improve throughout the entire season. They'll peak around conference tournament time, which will make them dangerous at the right time.

Cedarville has been better than I thought they would be, and frankly Ohio Valley is probably the worst team in D2.

I agree that I thought Malone would be a little better, but they weren't competitive in the GLIAC last year so I guess it's not too surprising.

Trevecca (whom I apparently didn't even remember was in the conference for a minute there...) has been pretty disappointing but they did lose quite a bit. I think they and Malone are probably interchangeable at the 5 and 6 spots.

I will say that next season Findlay, Hillsdale, Walsh, and Ohio Dominican will immediately land in the top half of the league. The question is going to be will they struggle to get the type of talent they have been getting while playing in the GLIAC? Or will they keep drawing good players and help bring up the overall talent level for the rest of the conference? Hopefully it's the latter.
I see Cedarville as still winning 15-17 games by end of the season. That's the only team I see giving KWC any trouble.

Yuck...that's never good but being sick around the holidays is the worst.

I added them to the list. Sheesh, my brain must be fried from the holidays.

I have not studied Malone much. I did think they would be better than the record shows. I think their women's team is "not bad"

Not pretty. The crazy thing is that the women's side, 5 of 8 have winning records.

Despite AB's struggles so far this season they still have enough talent (and the coaching) to be in the top 3 teams in league play this season.
Hope you're right! :) I, too, think we should win this one, but we're young and inexperienced so anything can happen.

I'm not exactly sure if Al McGuire was totally right about how "on any given night any basketball team can beat another."

However, I believe it can be true during most NCAA in conference games and the NBA. As far as trevecca is concerned, it seems their best games are in the big games. It does reinforce the fact that the GMAC cannot be taken for granted. As I have stated for years now, it takes time for a young NCAA conference to come on. When the conference really matures, people will take note.

    Good win, no doubt.

They're 3-9 with losses to Maryville and McKendree, though. What does that say?
