Missouri Western is celebrating 50 years of football with a series of throwback helmet decals and a 50th anniversary sticker to go with the 150th CFB sticker.

I like the one in the middle the best.

That was the helmet for most of the time I've been following Griffon football and I've always had a soft spot for it. I like the other two black ones too, but not as well as that one.

I've read they were chosen to reflect the prairies around Marshall. I understand they aren't everyone's cup of tea (even around here), but I personally love them!

Reasonable choice then.

Simon Fraser also changed theirs up. Got rid of the blue.

Considering the school color is scarlet, I like those better. Maroon just didn't fit school colors even if the uniforms did look good, The numbers look easy to read and if wearing all black uniforms perhaps the numbers will be able to be seen with scarlet trim.

That is correct. The new AD is expected to begin the process of moving athletics to D1.
