I had issue with prior play calls, throwing on first down etc.... but that was third down with the game in question, really had no issue with it.
Go Blazers, Braves , Falcons, Hawks and Jackets!

His son calls the plays. But as you said, as bonehead as they come. We won despite ourselves and the officiating.
Wells, I think, showed why he should have won the H.H.
And as NWNormal suggested, they should vote AFTER the N.C. OH well ....

I see your point, but I believe that play was two plays after an incomplete first down pass. Then almost an interception on 4th down that gave FSU great field position. Run the ball on both downs and even if FSU stopped you, Punt it deep and force them to go the whole field in less than a minute. Like I said, his play calling kept the Bulldogs alive.

I know it would have given you a heart attack, but how awesome would have been to watch those teams go at it in OT? That would have been sweeeeeeeeet.

I dont know that passing was a bad decision. Ferris had no answer for the Valdosta receivers. They were smaller and slower. I get the whole running the clock argument, but a first down there and the clock is basically gone. Valdosta had time to throw and wide open guys pretty much whenever they wanted it.

To be fair, last year TXAM-Commerce had a decent crowd on their side of the stadium. West FL's side was practically empty.

Question for anybody that actually went to the game. Would you recommend the championship returning to McKinney?

Mckinney is nice. Stadium was great and the downtown area of Mckinney is nice for food and drinks, lots of drinks. Curious why they put the official hotel and team over in a different town.

Great question and the answer to me, is no.

I was looking at the US map, and it seems that either Tennessee or K.C, is geographically in the middle.
If the NC was in K.C. or Knoxville, I could have driven, but 1,200 , one way to Texas, no way,
                      .
I would like to see Sporting Park to rethink thier decision. And ironically , today in K.C. it was 55 degrees.'

Well, at least you have a chance to drive. Even to KC from Ellensburg is 1,700 miles. To McKinney it is 2001 miles. Not much of a difference, flight all the way for CWU fans if we ever make it. Tennessee would be even worse than the 30 hour drive to Texas. Before anyone says no way CWU, they went to Double OT with Commerce in last year's playoffs.

It must be nice having only a 1200 mile trip to Texas or KC, but I agree 55 is nice weather there. Better than Cheney was for the FCS semifinal today.

It was ok. Not as nice as KC. Id rather see the game at Frisco at the Ford Center if it stays in Texas. Its an entire dedicated complex that will be able to provide much more of an event feel and experience. Mckinney had 2 concession stands, 2 Shirt sale places, no beer sales, and aluminum benches in the lower sections. They can do better for the DII championship in my opinion.
