Valdosta was the best team all season, didn't use an ineligible player, keeps the trophy from going to some "upstart" (I don't like parity because NW is better off without it), and there's still not been a 16-0 team in D2.

Couldn't watch the game due to not having ESPNU. How was the crowd? How did that HS district stadium look in general?

4,306 in the box score. 6th smallest crowd in title game history. About the exact same as last year's in KC.

My Blazers was the better team and we gave them an easy 14 points and the refs were ridiculous even from the opening drive and I'm watching the game again and that 1st drive should of been 1st and goal after the quarterback keeper but was 3rd and 2. I freaking hate poor one sided bad calls

What conference were those officials from? That pick up on the last PI call was hilarious. I thought the GLIAC guys were bad but wow...

On that same play, the line judge threw an offsides penalty right at the start of the play because a Ferris DB ran up to press and was a full yard over the LOS because the WR was playing off the line. But that penalty flag was never even mentioned.
