At least two MIAA schools are playing an abbreviated schedule this fall. Pittsburg State and Missouri Western both have road games against FCS opponents, and will announce other games soon.

Minnesota state high school league just OKed volleyball, with practice starting Sept 28th. They are debating on fall football right now. The states surrounding us are playing football.

Only time will tell if playing in the fall was the right decision.

Colorado HS football is a go as of last night for fall games starting in Oct. Just 6 games only with a minimum of 4 games to make the playoffs. only 8 teams will make the playoffs in each division. Or they can play in the spring with the same rules applying. Championships in both the spring and fall.

And the sequel is as good as the original. For your morning entertainment. Caution: if you are a PAC fan you might be triggered.

Looks like at least 4 teams in the RMAC have scheduled 5 games to play this fall, with a Oct. - Nov time frame. Colorado Mesa has one game scheduled against West Texas. The others stayed close to home with home and home games like the GNAC.

- not switching from full-time faculty to TA/adjunct
- tutoring available via Zoom
- student programming available online
- etc
Almost every school refunded housing and dining costs in the spring, and obviously so. Interesting enough, with no sports being played, one of the areas students have the most validity in wanting a refund would be fees associated with athletics. If they're not playing then I can see why students would want refunds on that.
