I still don't see how they would send New Haven out to SR4. You basically are just sending them on a much longer flight. And you are also putting the possibility (although it wouldn't happen) of one school having to make a cross country flight multiple weeks in a row.

If the only alternative is three first-round flights, it seems necessary.Originally posted by Ram Tough View PostI still don't see how they would send New Haven out to SR4. It also seems preposterous. I doubt that New Haven is winning a first round game, but to potentially put one team through that many long flights week after week is ridiculous to me and very short-sighted. Anyway, I don't make the decisions.Originally posted by Inkblot View Post

The last time a GLIAC team came to SR1 in the playoffs, it didn't turn out well for the GLIAC team.Originally posted by KleShreen View PostEvery school in SR1 would lose their everloving mind if Ferris got moved there. The ability to move teams between regions would be immediately revoked next year.

You got SR2 spot on but for the swap. Would you explain why we get the Delta - West Florida rematch and if if VSU wins we also get another rematch with either DSU or UWF? I thought the point of the swaps was to avoid rematches. I notice a lot of rematches with teams that would likely go far if they were swapped, could there be ulterior motives or is this strictly by the numbers? Another question, if West Georgia had beaten VSU could the GSC have gotten 4 teams in? Finally, had VSU lost to UWG yesterday, could the swap have involved a GSC team?Originally posted by Inkblot View PostLast edited by boyblue; 11-12-2023, 07:55 PM.

The only other road teams who could drive to Delta State are Indianapolis and Henderson State, and swapping either out of SR3 would cause more geographical problems there.Originally posted by boyblue View Post

UWG might have gotten in over Limestone due to the head-to-head.
Swaps involving GSC teams aren't too likely because of geography.

This response doesn't make any sense, first of all.Originally posted by Ram Tough View Post
Just stating facts. But hey, whatever helps you all sleep at night.
Second of all, you did indeed have your best team in your program's history defeat the worst regional champ from the GLIAC of the last 20 years, a team that gave up more points on defense than any other team in program history. Congratulations.2021 D2Football Fantasy Champion
