It doesn't erase the fact that Shepherd beat Grand Valley in the 2016 national semifinals. All the excuses in the world are moot because, last time I checked, they don't deduct points from a win because the other team had a "sub-par" season compared to the history of said program.

How is it an excuse? It is a fact. We can go over them, if you want. If Shepherd wants to sit on GV's one-game shoulders and call themselves tall, they have a right to try. Do any Shepherd or SR1 fans want to make a bet as to who wins a national title first, GV or Shepherd? Actually, I'll give you all of SR1. Congrats on the one game, though.

Sure..move Ferris to Region1 as the 7 seed and you are the road team in every game you play in the Region 1 bracket. That’s the fair trade off. Youse can even ask GV to borrow their private jets since they’ll be home and won’t need them.

I can't stand Ferris, but I am proud of Zach. He is from the same high school I graduated from and went from not having a chance as a football player beyond high school, to being a pretty solid starter in the NFL.
