Well if you're going all in on that, then that refutes your other previous statement that they would finish worse than 2nd in the GAC. If that's your line of thinking, they absolutely would have finished 2nd in the GAC this year.

Central Washington won two games in the playoff that year!

I have a way to solve this. I think you should just crown them Super Bowl champions and that would just end the debate right there. I wouldn't even have a comeback to that.

Friends is a lot better than ENMU. I don’t think friends would beat Henderson or OBU (when healthy). That was my point.

you’re the one who added all the layers and claimed NAIA teams have no shot to beat a d2 playoff team. That was incorrect. And you can’t retroactively claim you were only referring to friends because you knew nothing about them admittedly. It was a generality.

        However, super irrelevant, ultimately

There's a "rumor" floating around that the NAIA is about to disqualify one of their postseason participants - has anyone heard anything?

EDIT: Nothing official but sounds like it's Marian?

Now it's official - though Marian "withdrew" due to an ineligible player.

Their opponent - Kaiser - gets a bye this week.

It's a rare occurrence in modern FCS to not have the Bison or Jacks in the title game - only happened once since the run began in 2011.

Just leaves USD as the only Dakota school still fightin'.

I'm glad Duke won the ACC Championship game to knock #17 Virginia out of the CFP.

Kudos to Kennesaw State for winning the CUSA Championship game in just their second year in FBS.

I thought Yale was supposed to get boat raced. You know Ivy League school could spend everyone into a ditch if they really wanted to…

Is Montana the favorite to win it in the FCS now that NDSU is out?

Montana State is likely the favorite, but it is a wide open field now.

Personally - I think the Ivies should have kept on keepin' on. But that aside, I think despite not offering athletic scholarships, the top end programs tend to be quite competent. Probably because they can draw in recruits on the academics alone, something that the non-scholarship PFL can't do as well.

The Ivy League was big time foosball into the 1950’s before they said..eh..never mind. Penn was bigger than Penn State in those days…
