I think the GMAC will have at least five or six wins out of the 11 games to be played. My guess is without any real knowledge, just gut level stuff.

Walsh 24 vs West Liberty 21 - West Liberty beat Walsh by this score last year and I think Walsh will flip the script on them. Come on Walsh we as a conference need this win.
Wayne State 10 vs Tiffin 24 - This game might be closer than we want but I think Tiffin pulls away in the end. Really good opening game for Tiffin to start with. Wayne State should be better this year but Tiffin needs to reassure it is the champion after a coaching change.
Northern Michigan 20 vs Kentucky Weslyn 27 - NMU was one of the worse football programs in DII last year. KW finished last year playing some uninspired ball so hoping KW comes out to start the year with a little energy. A loss here would be devastating for the conference.
Ohio Dominican 10 vs Seton Hill 13 - I need to see OD to have any confidence in their offense. The Hill ended the year winning 5 of their last 6 games so should come in feeling pretty good about themselves. This would be a great win for the conference if OD can pull it off.
Indiana Penn. 17 vs Ashland 24 - AU gets payback after a rough loss last year. Would be great to see Ashland win by a few scores but I do think it is going to be a tight game. The Eagles score just enough to get the year started right.
Northwood 20 vs Gannon 21 - A night game at Gannon is going to be tough for Northwood. I think the Wood could pull this game out but they need to show they can play on the road this year. Last year Northwood was good at home and bad on the road hopefully that changes. Come on Northwood we need this one too.
Findlay 28 vs Truman State 27 - Wow this is a huge ball game to start the year. Truman could easily win their conference and with Findlay as our preseason favorite we need this game! The Oilers will need to be sharp as Truman doesn’t make mistakes and are an excellent discipline team that plays hard. This is my game to watch.
Davenport 31 vs Thomas Moore 14 - Very tough opener for TM as Davenport is one of the favorites in the mighty GLIAC. Hoping TM can keep it close.
Lake Erie College 3 vs Ferris State 65 - Why Ferris just why? Hope the Storm can come out of this game healthy. I don’t put any stock in this game as Ferris would beat most of our conference this badly.
Univ. of Indianapolis 45 vs Hillsdale 14 - Tough opener for the Dale. I have UIndy a top 10 team with a ton of talent returning from last year. The Dale lost some very good talent and returns one of the worse defenses in the conference. Sadly I see the Dale getting off to the 2nd straight year with 4 straight losses as they didn’t stay within 10 points of anybody with a winning record last year.
Wheeling 17 vs Walsh 21 - Two wins to start the season? It’s very possible as the AD at Walsh has done a great job finding games that gives them a chance to be successful. Walsh is a sleeper team in the conference and it would be great if they could get off to this 2-0 start. Come on Walsh, it’s time.

Ooops - I made my picks then realized that the 9/5 games had already been played. Guess I made the right picks. I based my pick of IUP vs Ashland on unc4life's comment. I'm picking Hillsdale over Indy because I'm a homer, and these two teams usually play tight and close games. Also, thanks to Foxxfoolin for offering to help with each week's picks.

A lot of picks for AU this week. I said over in the preview page that this Ashland team is not good. They will win some games because the defense is always strong, but the offense might be the worst I have seen in many years.

They will win some games because there is a LOT of awful football in the GMAC. Ashland, Tiffin, Findlay, Hillsdale and even Thomas More now are decent. After that...you can pretty much just show up and beat a team.
