He looks like he's going to be a good QB, sharp passing with a quick release. He can also run, which the Rock seemed to take advantage of by running the option. I'm picking Rock as #2 in the West. We'll see how they play tomorrow. This will be my first look at Ship. I think the Rock will give them much more of a game than Clarion did last week.
    Mussina is the Ship QB.

Ooops, that's embarrassing. I should have doubled checked aye? Obviously, I meant Koester. Still learning who is who outside of IUP.

Brycen Mussina has a better slider.

Koester is faster, he pulled away from Kentucky State dbs on his 80 yd run.

Run game could be the key today for both teams , since the weather maybe lousy.

It could be Mike Kier in disguise ? Homer may have pulled some strings.

This is a definite worry if you're Ship. Because Hills.

You see plenty of RBs come through who transferred down from FBS or FCS because they saw the writing on the wall. You don't see many come through who were successful at that level and move down.

That said, Ship might have the best defense in the PSAC this year (sorry, IUP). Dynamic playmakers all over the field. Eight starters back from one of the nation's better defenses.

Rock RB is no joke. He's a big, powerful runner with surprising speed. Ship's going to see way more talent today than last week.

I hope the feed is OK ... I'd like to tune in for awhile.

                  Light, steady rain here.

Good luck, Rock fans ... let's have a good one.

Wow, two big turnovers for Ship costing them possibly 14 points. That fumble return alone is likely a 14 point swing. You can't win big games doing that type of stuff Ship.

Ship drives 85 yards. Botched handoff on first and goal is snagged by Trysten McDonald, who goes 90 yards.

                      7-0 Rock, 3:33 1st.

Yes, Rock D not looking very "relentless" and then a fortuitous bounce on a muffed hand-off turns into six for the Rock. Rock D needs to tighten up a bit. By the way, ex IUP reserve center Alex Petrillo starting for Ship at center.

7-0 after one. Ship just had TD run by Mussina wiped out by hold, they're at the Rock 18.

They've moved pretty consistently on the ground.

This has to be killing coach Mac, who harps on the need to "finish" all the time.

Hills hasn't been in since the first series.

That stinks for me--I have him starting on my D2 fantasy team.
