Obviously Max Redfield was a big reason why IUP was so good on defense last year.
Without him or a player of his caliber, Not so much this year.

Well Max is gone but I will say Max gave the team confidence. I did not see emotion on IUP's side. Poor execution, for sure. That can be attributed to poor execution or being overmatched. Take your pick. I don't think you can underestimate the development of Cal's QB.

Geez, what I saw was Lenny not having much time to throw, receivers not being open, our secondary getting beat, and Cal's RB dragging our defense around. What's up with that?
Oh, and I forgot to mention holes not being blown open for our running game like we've been accustomed to.

Relax, it might have helped if rogers and McNeil hadn't dropped 5 passes in their hand. Or if the linemen hadn't gone downfield on an easy TD pass. or the stupid penalties
