IUP will be fine next year. They have a ton back and will spend the coin to buy top transfers.

They got a huge boost today if they can just win these last four. Obviously still a long shot but they are still alive.

Normal thinking would be its bad to lose a sr. QB...but that might help IUP next year.

IUP has a few key seniors but, overall, it's a pretty young team.

Box score: 7 rushes for -9 yrds, 3 for 4 passing for 26 yrds and sacked 4 times. Not exactly Tom Brady.

I hope his injury isn't serious.

I haven't brought it up again for awhile, but Carter Van Scyoc is going to part of that conversation before this is over (although I wouldn't burn his redshirt at this point). Or at least he should be.

Didn't watch the game but since I've praised GARY DUNN when the VULCANS won, I'll lay this loss at his feet. Loses to playoff caliber teams are what the games are about, who is better. Loses to 1-5 teams are unacceptable. This is the first such loss of this sort in the GD era. Certainly hope it is the last we see for some time.
Congrats to GU, their players and coaches for an outstanding effort in an otherwise awful season. They shouldn't have won but did which speaks to the character of the team.
Going forward for CALU, '18 returns to the rebuilding year we felt it may be at the start. Disappointing but it will be enlightening to see how the team responds.

It helps that Grand Valley is on the outskirts of Grand Rapids. Probably was hyped by their local media. Maybe if the Yinzerburgh media would give the PSAC teams the same coverage they give single A high school teams maybe there would be more excitement. Probably not.
