This weekend they play #5 LIU Post so we shall see if they deserve their ranking...but then LIU Post at 8-0 or 7-1 will only improve Assumption's OWP.

In your opinion, who should be #10 instead of Assumption?

            Who cares about No. 10

            Or No. 9

            Or No. 8

Only 7 spots mean a thing.

LOL ... granted, you have a point.

From just a fan point of view this is an interesting race. WCU, Kutztown and SRU will all get a SOS boost this week. An Assumption loss knocks IUP up. A lot of this story is yet to be told.

If Cal can win this week it changes an awful lot of scenarios.

That is because we could not compete against those schools from Michigan and had the Regions changed so that we only played cupcakes.

That is true. Luckily, the D2 landscape changes over time. To a certain extent, anyway.

And in this case the Michigan schools could not complete in the GLIAC, so they sought a Cupcake solution.

In fairness to them, nearly half the schools currently in the GLIAC cannot compete in the GLIAC.

And to think before the season everyone pretty much wrote off the East and said it would be a PSAC West heavy conference. Looks like the East is almost guaranteed 2 playoff spots as long as WCU doesn't implode meanwhile. If Rock loses to Cal they'd probably finish the season at 9-2 and would need Hillside to lose to Tiffin and hope that Bloomsburg can knock off West Liberty & that way if they beat Bloom in week 11 they get a SOS bump for winning against an opponent with a .500 record. KU and WCU look to be pretty much a lock for the playoffs as both are pretty much guaranteed to finish now worse than 9-1

West Chester has Cal in the final week. They could easily lose to both Kutztown and California and be out of it with their crappy schedule.

Kutztown's in better shape. With a win on Saturday, they're in the playoffs. With a loss, they'd need to get past Edinboro.

You got it. None of the West Big 3 is going to have any fear of WCU -- regardless what that record shows.
