Agree with Nation about Doc! As I recall, WCU band in my day was a huge band that just stood and played on field. We called them the bucketheads because of their safari helmets. I remember our 45 minute exhibition shows and never doing the same show twice. We did not get the recognition that was deserved.

However, they sound phenomenal. They are like a Broadway Show on the field. Sadly the IUP Band has slipped way behind them but they are still the second best band in the Pee
Sack....which isn't saying much.

It's disappointing to see the lack of engagement of the MB in the football games. This being the Slippery Rock football game week, I can remember some great times when we played Slippery Rock. It usually involved MB members capturing the Rock mascot and having mock fights with it. We had fun chanting politically incorrect things to the Rock. Our mock mascot fights were a crowd pleaser!
It's embarrassing the IUP band won't be at SRU this weekend (or the cheerleaders).

Or, when they play full blast with IUP driving in to their endzone.
Performance 'show' band ... yeah, they are good.
Football game band ... they beyond freaking blow chunks.

That really sucks, though they aren't bringing the band/Cheerleaders. Cal brought them to IUP's Homecoming, and if I were a judge, won that day.
