That would be a weird "homecoming" for RR going back to Valdosta!
I believe the GSC board said "Ravarious R." was one of their best tacklers on the team.

*Ravarius yea he leads the team in tackles and is a big hitter. Wish he got his hands on the ball a little more with INTs but we will take whatever .

You were the one that predicted Notre Dame would beat Hillsdale by 14 in the MEC forum, back when people still posted in the MEC forum.

It was 14-0 at the half according to the box score.

Can we please call it quits to the "can't compete with the top tier PSAC teams?" The NE10 champ just knocked out the PSAC champ a week ago, ND beat the team that beat the other PSAC "top tier" team.

The MEC champ has consistently proven that they can compete and WIN against anybody in this region. Shepherd has their resume, but even Concord in their 1 year of big success whooped the region.

Enough already with that crap. ND and SRU are going to have a great game this weekend.

It actually was the #2 NE10 team knocking off the PSAC champ btw. Post was the champs and lost to Slippery Rock

Re: Slippery Rock at Notre Dame College

Lot of talk about 'conference' champs, etc.

Those are nice trophies to put in the football office and all .. but the NCAA playoffs is what counts.

Does anybody really think West Chester would rather win a PSAC Title as opposed to losing at home in the first round of the playoffs?

Call them conference champions all you want ... but the last team standing from the conference is the real champion of any given season.

The best teams are the ones still playing. It's really that simple.

In the case of WCU I might say yes, just because of how long their title drought was. Going forward, their priority will absolutely be the playoffs.

As a Rock homer the comments go beyond comical and more alarming to me. Hopefully the SRU players are staying off the web and preparing for the game of their lives. (I know, every playoff game should be the "game of your life".)

As for the "PSAC is clearly the superior conference" stuff, that hasn't really held true since 2010. Here are your Super Region 1 / Northeast Champions for the past couple of years.
                                (Source: Pages 8-15 - http://fs.ncaa.org/Docs/stats/footba...ds/2017/D2.pdf)

                                2017 - IUP
                                2016 - Shepherd
                                2015 - Shepherd
                                2014 - Concord
                                2013 - West Chester
                                2012 - Winston-Salem
                                2011 - Winston-Salem
                                2010 - Shepherd
                                2009 - California
                                2008 - California
                                2007 - California

                                2005 - East Stroudsburg
                                2004 - East Stroudsburg

Perhaps NDC is about to go on a run like Shepherd or Winston-Salem State had and win the region for the next two years. I feel confident Slippery Rock can win just because I don't think there was a ton of variance between the 7 playoff teams in the region this year, but that doesn't mean it will happen.
