Don't feel the need to respond to every rhetorical question but if you insist, Fairmont lost to ESU 16-20.

Conversation inevitably turns to who and it starts with IUP, then Cal followed by WCU or SRU. Whenever there is a discussion of other conferences and were they should be seeded, its always after a PSAC team with the same record and at times even behind a PSAC team with a worse record.

Meanwhile, the MEC with their one little token playoff team just keeps winning.
The most common meaning of "silver spoon" is someone born into wealth, and West Chester has been under 10 scholarships since 2014, and not more than 11 prior to that. As a frequent reader of the PSAC forum, since the MEC forum is DEAD even though they're the only conference in the region with a team playing, you should have known that.

As for your perceived "sense of entitlement", I originally posted this for texwilson, but you could benefit from it too.

NDC still had the worst SOS of the undefeated teams in SR1 this year.

How'd that work out? 22-point loss at home. Three (barely) winning seasons since.

You don't feel the need to respond because you know where this is going. You claim the MEC is deep, and their 2nd and 3rd best teams get screwed out of playoff spots. But how could that be when they are losing, at home, to below .500 PSAC clubs?

But thank you. In 2017 Fairmont was tied for 2nd in the MEC while ESU was tied for 2nd to last in the PSAC east that year.

So yeah, the MEC is really deep, and is always royally screwed when it comes to playoff spots.

I apologize for turning this back in to an actual football discussion, but, ...

How will the SRU QB situation work out this off-season? I've heard from a few off the record it is no given that Rivers will be the starter next year. Recall there were two injured guys ahead of him. What say you, Rock fans?

After the West Chester game Taylor King got a lot more snaps in practice; and threw for over 300 yds. in a half at Ship.

I can still picture Koester running away from Kentucky St. Dbs in the first game on his 80 yard TD run.

              Eligibility: Rivers 1 year

              King 2 years

Koester 2 years (medical this year)

They all transferred in, so I think if they transfer again they would have to sit out unless they went down a level.

It's a small sample size, but coming out of the Ship game, if both were healthy, I would have gone with King over Koester. Should be a heck of a battle thing spring/fall.

They won't all three be there. They can transfer in D2 to another conference and play right away.

This goes into my point IUP folks do not believe they are worthy to step foot on a football field with a team outside the region. Excuse their beta mentality they are still shook a year later from a 3 loss WF team that beat them at home

No need to hope. ND represented the MEC & SR1 very well! Fairmont State should have made the playoffs too!!

SCI Mon Valley hosted a few semi final games and choked them all.

They got lucky. Valdosta must have had a bad day.
