End of 3, and ESU is in control, leading 31-10. Good bounce back for the Warriors, Marauders maybe losing steam? Not sure how much they've been rotating during games.

ESU wins 38-17. Now to prepare for West Chester. Must-win for playoff hopes.

Not too impressed with the Shep win today, not knocking the competition but we beat these teams a lot more than we did today. I do think that teams in the East are getting better than previously. I do think we can run the table and make the playoffs, doubt we will make it too far.

Shep and IUP are down this year. Enjoy it while it lasts.

So Ship outgains West Chester by 160 yards, including 211 to 95 in rushing, and still manages to lose on a couple of explosion plays and a 99-yard WC fumble recovery for a TD. As jrshooter said in an earlier post, when it rains. . . . At least it appears they've finally found a creditable QB and something of an offense.

                  It won't last too long.

Boro actually held Gannon 17-12. Last play as time expired had the typical laterals only to have Gannon recover a fumble for a touchdown.

Frustrating game to watch. Young Boro OL dominated, QB play couldn't convert big plays, and DL kept giving up chunk running plays.

Oddly, SRU's 75 wasn't the highest number yesterday in Western PA. Carnegie Mellon hung 80 on Thiel.

Congratulations to Kutztown on defeating Bloomsburg 24-3.

There was a point during the Danny Hale years when Bloom beat Kutztown 18 times in a row. This series has done a 180 as this was Kutztown's 7th straight win over the Huskies.

So far in the Coach Sheptock Era Bloom is 0-3 against Kutztown by a margin of 82-10. YIKES!
                        GO HUSKIES!

And the funny thing, according to the box score it was pretty even. Kutztown only outgained Bloom 228-221. Bloom had more first downs and Kutztown had more penalties.

Bloomsburg offense is bad, really bad! Special teams are struggling! Defense is on field all day!

Kutztown has been much improved since the Hale years. They have only won the PSAC twice, one of those in the Sheptock era. Bloom still has 17 PSAC Championships, but they may need a new coach after this year.

Do you really think Sheptock is on the hot seat?

Coach Darragh was let go and look where we're at. I'm not sure at the D2 level firing coaches on a whim works as well as stability. My feelings are to stay the course until his retirement, which isn't that far off. Isn't he pushing 60?
