I always thought Lindy’s was one of those old-timey magazines that once had a huge audience in the pre-TV days. Apparently it was only started in the 80s by one guy. Tidbit aside while I’m sure the magazine isn’t a one-man show anymore I don’t put much stock into their analysis. Nothing they’ve written gives me reason to.

In fairness, if any of us owned the magazine I don't think we'd give D2 more than a page, either. It's not going to sell many issues.

Teams can look fantastic early and then the injuries pile up. By October they are a shell of that late August team.

"Next man up" in SR1 terms often means a 25% scholarship player (if that) or a true freshman.

Not to mention, we could probably count on one hand right now the 5 teams with an actual shot to win SR1 this year. Which one will stay the healthiest?
Who's your 5 with a shot to win Region 1?

Kutztown, Rock, IUP, Shepherd.... Charleston? Cal? GMAC?

Probably, but then why put in, IMO, one of, if not, the worst D2 polls that I see? If anything, doing so degrades the product.

Horses are back - on both sides of the ball. As will be that "Gimmick" offense. Still need to stay healthy and like every other team that wins - get a timely bounce or 2.

I have to say about Harding: grand valley held them scoreless until the 4th, I was surprised that mines couldn’t stop them at all during the NC. If Harding has the horses and they stay healthy, I think they repeat.
