  • Tough break for Gannon, they miss the short 24-yard FG which could've cut the game down to two possessions. ESU leads 24-7 with about 5 and a half left.

    • Who had kicker Nick Andrasi as your IUP MVP today? He did miss the one field goal but hit two clutch ones. Looks like he may have exorcised his PAT miss demons too. No questioning the strength of his leg.

      • IUP up two scores with five minutes to go and inexplicably isn’t in a prevent defense to force Lock Haven to use a bunch of clock to score. Next thing you know they hit a big play because of poor judgement by the DB and the Bald Eagles are right back in it at 20-17.

        • It's up to the D now.

          • That was one of the ugliest college football games I’ve seen in a long time. My goodness.

It looked like a rough, hard fought game. LHU defense is right on the edge.

              • I thought it was a really competitive, enthralling game. The one play I didn't see was the hit on Karst Hunter, though. IUP dodges the LHU bullet.

Now we need to get the injury report.

                • ESU is 3-0 and has a bye week to prepare for Kutztown. Love the way this team is playing right now. A solid 1-2 punch running game and a gutsy QB who can make a few first downs with his legs, and make every throw asked of him. The D is stout, allowing just 6 second half points in 3 games.

Sigh. Yes. He missed nearly the whole game.

I guess his brother is either hurt or redshirting. He hasn't dressed either game this year.

I suspect Monaco finally debuts next week. They need him badly.

It wasn't pretty. IUP has to get healthy. So many guys out on both sides.

That was a big win - especially given the guys standing on the sidelines. Stadium was packed and loud. The way that stadium is set up, however, I don't think the crowd has too big of an impact. There never should have been drama at the end. IUP dug their own grave there.

Millersville should be a much lighter afternoon.

LH can play. Make no mistake. That's a tough team. They clean up boneheaded penalties they'll be a very tough out.

That late TD was doomed before the snap. IUP should have took a timeout. DB was on wrong side of field. By the time he (kind of) got back he was all disconnected.

                      • #2 Central Missouri and #3 Pittsburg State go down.

Kutztown and SRU likely moving up.

The Coach Prime of D2 didn't get to do his dancing last night.

Isaiah played last night. I saw him a few times in four-receiver sets. He had a target broken up in the fourth quarter.

No, he didn't. But who would have thought three years ago that Lock Haven would be taking IUP into the fourth quarter before a game was decided? That guy has certainly thrown a team together up there in a short amount of time. Coach Prime can only wish he was getting the results the guy at Lock Haven is putting down.

It's actually a slap in the face to refer to Coach Mulrooney as Coach Prime of D2. I have been snarky about their turnaround, but I'd never insult him by calling him that. He deserves better. Shadeur isn't falling far from that tree with his antics last night.

On another note, the lines on the ESU games don't seem to be quite big enough, as they have covered every week so far...I imagine the Warriors will be underdogs in their own building on the 28th.
