I totally missed that. Great pickup for the Boro and an early win for Coach Scott. For some reason, I had assumed Nico was going to Clarion.

Right now Boro has 3 QBs on its roster, only one (Swartz) of which has seen game action at that position going 2 of 6 for 9 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT. He went 2-2 for 9 yards & 1 TD against IUP :) Swartz was an effective wildcat & RB/WR, accounting for over 100 yards and 9 TDs.

They did not sign a QB this recruiting class, so Nico is a good addition and should push for the starting job. Since the entire coaching staff is new, I don't know what to expect.

That said, they have taken some serious losses here this off-season.

They obviously have some money and Lutz is a good recruiter. But, they've lost three serious dudes here.
Also Cal U lost 4 legit starters WR UTEP, DL Akron , DL Marshall and CB Pitt…

Wilson had a very nice spring game for YSU.

If I’m reading the 2024 stats page at the SRU website correctly this means that between graduation and transfers they’ve lost their starting QB, two leading rushers, and four leading receivers from last year. That’s an awful lot of production to replace even for a strong program.

    Hilarious ... I guess he can say he's D1

However, the D2 team he just left would beat the pi$$ out of his new D1 team.

Spring ball with the new staff maybe didn't go as he wished. He's got some nice experience in two years that are certainly flippable.
