With him going into year 3 of his contract, it's obvious the university cant or won't buy him out. So you're basically stuck for at least one more season. But with a new chancellor coming in, things may change.

GSUTIGER2002, sadly you are right, financially athletics does not have the resources to buy him out. However, I'm not sure the "will" is there to replace him even if we did! Our AD is in the crosshairs of many alumni because they question her frivolous spending when funds are tight, and the lack of any measurable fundraising efforts. What bothers me most is that there does not seem to be any sense of urgency to address these issues. We've gotten too comfortable with mediocrity! That scares me more than anything!
