Evidently there is a little known rule in HS(maybe college too- not sure) that wherever you catch a punt, your team at that same spot can tee up the ball and kick a field goal. The defense cannot try to block the kick.

It’s legal in NFL, XFL and high school, but NCAA deleted it from their rules in 1950’s. Love to see it return.

Delta was mentioned in an article about Alabama football this morning

Alabama has exceeded the 77 it scored vs. VPI in 1973 on six occasions, only one of those taking place since 1922. The Crimson Tide beat Delta State 89-0 in Montgomery in its 1951 season opener, but the Statesmen were then in the NCAA’s “college” division, the pre-cursor to Division I-A/FCS (Division II, where Delta State now resides, wasn’t created for another two decades)

Has anyone watched(or tried to) the new trend in college football of the "sideline coverage" or as SEC network calls it "COMMAND CENTER"?
Pat McAfee does one as well. IMHO they are awful. The game becomes secondary. I didn't buy a LARGE TV to see small play action and LARGE STAT postings, or some egomaniac. Just me maybe but McAfee is just a blowhard yelling "Look at me".

I saw something on mlb playoffs all these commentators around the screen. I turned to different channel. Wasn’t sure what it was called except awful.

I was expecting Ferris to be up. I know Davenport is no slouch and they were a playoff team last year, but they’re surprising me so far.
