Mars Hill at Emory & Henry: I like E&H's program but this is a win all the way by Mars Hill. Lions by 11 (28-17).
UVA Wise at Tusculum: Tusculum have a propensity to win and lose at any given time. Don't think this is one of those. I'll go Pioneers by 20 (34-14)
Barton at Lenoir-Rhyne: Homecoming is always a big crowd at LR, but this one should be an even bigger crowd with the (you heard me right) CONTENDERS BARTON BULLDOGS coming to Hicktown. For me this one all depends on who the starting QB is for LR. If Ferguson starts I think LR wins with only a few uncomfortable moments, if White starts I think this is a low-scoring ugly affair. I'll split the difference and say LR wins by 7 (23-16).
Limestone at Wingate: I've said it before, I like Limestone's team. I think they are unlucky to have the record they have and if they want to have a chance at the playoffs they need to win out. Wingate, on the other hand, have quietly been dominating teams in a way only Wingate can since the Tusculum loss. This is a backs against the wall game for both teams and I could see it going either way. For now, give me Limestone by 1 (21-20).
Catawba at Newberry: It's homecoming in the graveyard. Newberry has been the most disappointing team in the SAC this year. Catawba has shown fight. Newberry has lost two straight against teams they would have thought they'd dominate going into the year. Catawba has looked decent. Newberry looks like they're getting ready to give up on the season. I'm taking the Catawba Indians by 2 (28-26).
Carson-Newman at Erskine: Blowout, feel good win for the Eagles. Erskine stinks. Eagles by 24 (34-10).
