Let me be the first to welcome Washburn University fans to Searcy, AR - Home of the Harding Bisons. That’s right - it’s Bisons with a “s”. The other team in our conference - Oklahoma Baptist - are the Bison. I don’t live in Searcy so I’ll let some of the other posters who are more familiar with Searcy and north central Arkansas tell you the best places to stay and eat. I’ve stayed in Searcy many times, went to school at Harding and have a grandkid going there now. My wife and I usually stay at the Hampton Inn near the freeway (Hwy. 67, eastern edge of town). The stadium is less than 3 miles from there. Searcy is a town of less than 25,000 so you’re not very far from anything when you’re there. Topeka is less than a 6-hr. drive from Searcy. I’m guessing most of you will drive. If you want fly, the Little Rock airport is about an hour away from Harding University. We’re looking to hosting the game and seeing you there. If you want to watch it on line, Harding’s media department does a good job of streaming the home games on Harding’s cable cast channel -HU16. It’s free.

FYI, that score is generated completely based on my IPR metric. It's objective. This is the first year in using it to project scores. This past week it had mixed results. It got the BoTR score spot on, and was in the ball park on several others. It did pick the winner correctly in every game I ran.
Subjectively, I actually expect a closer game than that. This will be the first time it predicts non conference games.

Attention Bod media department. You might want to update the information posted on your website:
https://wusports.com/news/2021/11/15...ches-poll.aspx
It should read “the # 7 Harding Bisons who finished their season 10-1 on Saturday against Arkansas Tech in Russellville, AR”

I haven't gotten Western Colorado's IPR yet but once I do, I'll run UNK's game too.
I'll make adjustments to the formula and tweak to make it more accurate as I get more data. Right now I'm weighting scoring offense/defense
and influence power evenly. I may need to tweak that, but I need more info.
I'll eventually get the rest of the regions too, it just takes a minute to run a teams ipr for a whole season if I haven't been updating it week to week.
