Let’s get the discussion rolling. After starting slow yesterday, HU looked utterly dominant yesterday. My concerns about the Oline earlier in the yr all went away yesterday as the Oline looked dominant yesterday with an outstanding push all day. The team seems to be peaking at the right time. All that said, if we listen to our GVSU brethren, they are not as good in any phase as last year’s team. I hope they are not sandbagging on us as this D was the only D to slow us down at all last year. I am expecting this to be a dogfight, but I do believe based on how we showed up yesterday that Harding finds a way to win in a close one but a tad more breathing room than last year. I’m going 20-10 good guys.

Our offense is more explosive this year and our defense is better. Our starting O line just hasn't needed to do sustained drives this year, our offense has been too explosive. I was a little relieved when our 2s came in in the 4th quarter against Pitt just so we could hold the ball for a sustained drive.
Even if GVSU isn't quite as good as last years team, the game was so close last year and they'll have home field advantage.
Weather is looking to be a factor. Right now Saturday there's a high of 25 degrees and a 50% chance of snow. A turnover on a toss due to the cold and wet could be the game.Passing is a Sin

In my opinion, GV's defensive line is not as good as last year. We lost two starting DT's (including J. Suggs at LSU) and two good defensive ends. I've seen too many rush yards given up at games, and every time I saw that I thought of a potential Harding rematch. Our linebackers and secondary are excellent and still great tacklers.
I like what Ouachita Baptist's strategy was - shut down Braden Jay and your speed on the outside. I really hope we have a similar focus.
Our run game has really struggled recently. Our pass game has struggled all year. We need a low scoring game to beat HU.

It’ll be a balmy 55-60 degrees all week in Arkansas. Not sure how we get ready to play in 25 degree weather with snow. With classes out all week maybe we go ahead and fly the team to Michigan and bus over to Allendale. Anybody know of campuses nearby that would put us up for a week cheap!

Really looking forward to this game. I'm leaving my parents house in Montana in about an hour and hoping for good service through the wilds of Montana and South Dakota. Based on least weeks ass kicking, I don't think GVSU has the firepower to keep up with Harding
