Then again, I call bs on any uco olineman being 300 lbs.

When Pitt wanted to get pressure they had no problems doing so as the UCO Oline was just manhandled all game long. I wasn't suspecting that at all. It was a surprise to me to see the defense control the football game. UCO got the ball inside our 30 and didn't get much farther and settled for a fg which was missed. Got the ball around midfield and didn't move the ball. There were 3 or 4 possession either by turnover or that one stupid call that Pitt went for it on 4th and tried to draw UCO offside and ended up turning the ball over on downs. UCO scored on only 1 of those possessions and it was due to the cb tripping and falling down, otherwise it would have been a goose egg for UCO.
I know you were high on the RBs for UCO coming into this game but I didn't see it, but to their defense they didn't have much room to operate.
The Chos need to get to work on that "O" or it will be a long season for them. But the defense front 7 did look legit.
Good news is, it was the first game. Chos could roll from here on out if they get that offense figured out.
Good luck to you all and may your Son stay injury free.

Re: Gorillas vs. 'Chos Game Day Thread
I saw several plays that looked to be large potential gainers, only for the Pitt D to swarm and clamp down. The D is fast and aggressive, and for once in 3 years the DBs are not getting burned down the sidelines on every pass play. I really believe the UCO D is pretty good too, but am aware that maybe our offense isn't that good, but that is more out of the ordinary the last decade. Maybe they try cutting the RB committee down to about 3 main reps, and more of a rhythm could be maintained.

I also hope a RB separates himself to be "the guy".
