I was looking at the Network package today... I see it's gone up to $140 for the yearly pass. Anyone heard if they're doing the early bird special they've ran in the past? It's not unreasonable, but makes you envious of those other conferences that provide that for free. Fans of those schools obviously and understandably complain when their teams are playing our MIAA teams and they have to pay to watch a single game. $15 now... it doesn't even cost that much to attend live in some venues.

Does anybody know how much this nets the conference anyway? The Pac 9 needs to take notes.
    Go Bronchos!

I’d be curious to know that too.

When I click on it, it takes me to hudl. Did Hudl buy it out?

Last year, the lower price of $100 (regular price was $125) was available from August 18-24.

I found an article that said it netted MIAA schools $500k during the 2021-2022 seasons. They may update it with 2022-23 figures when they announce this year's plans.

I haven't seen anything about it being offered yet. Typically, they do a discounted amount later in August.

I paid for it last year since I'm working at an MIAA institution now, but the paywalls were a big part of what kept me from getting behind D2 sports when I lived in California and Texas. If I only have a few opportunities to actually go to games, the odds I do it drop significantly if it's going to cost extra money to keep up with the games I can't attend.

To be fair, if that $500K number is accurate, the MIAA is probably justified in charging for a product that has that amount of demand. But it drives me nuts when some schools can't be bothered to put together a decent production when I'm paying for it and they're making money off of it.

No, I haven't. I made it to the place where I could purchase it, but I thought I'd wait and see if they do the discount again this year before I pull the trigger.

140 gets you a ticket to see 7 to 10 games. I watch way more games than that each year, so I feel like it's still worth it.

It's definitely worth it! It covers every sport, so if you're an MIAA fan at all it is. That being said, I'm not above getting a discount! ;)

Oh I agree. Discounts are nice.

I watch pretty much all the miaa football games that don't include a team named Lincoln. .

I think covid and the season after when everyone was still worried about it got a lot more people to look at the streaming option.
