Emporia State @ Northwest Missouri - Hornets win a close game but I won’t be surprised if NW looks like the old Bearcats & sends us back to Emporia with a Mule kicking.
Fort Hays State @ Central Oklahoma - Hays sends the Bronchos back to reality as UCO sh**s themselves as they usually do once they start to build some momentum for the season.
Nebraska Kearney @ Central Missouri - Kearney playing a frustrated UCM squad who had to fight to beat Davenport is not a recipe for success. Give me UCM big this week.
Washburn @ Missouri Western - The bods finally get the upset win they haven’t quite been able to get yet. Western suffers from a heavy hangover with the loss to the Hornets.

          Tough pics this week:
Washburn @ Mo West - (still thinking)
          And
Emporia at NW. - Was the ass-wuppin in Joplin a turn-a-round or a frustration reflex?

The MIAA is currently a race to see who can progress each week. Everyone has holes that they are spraying with flex seal as we speak.

ESU- I think they'll win, but could see nw winning just to screw up my picks.
Hays -bumps off uco. If they don't, we have to hear silliness about teams being afraid to play in front of the 3000 or so people at hgtv, pimp my endzone, stadium..
UCM- gets the win, but the lopes finally score some points.
MW- home team wins. Or not, who knows?

The thing in Joplin had a heavy dose of stat padding to make a case for saving Sturdy's job. That said, I think they may have figured things out on D.

pssst..you know were both lineman and don't give a rat's azz about the end zone, right? kinda tongue in cheek.
keep picking against us though. you'll eventually get one. hays didn't take their foot off our necks last year when it was an obvious beatdown in progress. steph was barely even part of the game. not sure what his problem was but it was clear about the end of the 1st quarter he wasn't digging the 32-degree rain/snow combo and play showed it. we owe them pretty big for that game.

NW woke up too late…they’ll need to finish 5-2 just to match their ‘23 down year. Had they played the 1st two weeks like they did the last two weeks they’d be 3-1. However a win over ESU would still be a monumental upset

This dude just jealous someone in the MIAA has a nicer stadium than the Forest or whatever it’s called in BFE Kansas.

Like most UCO students and alumni, I've never seen the stadium. I'm sure it's nice.
