Gundy is in medical tent after that sandwich sack around midfield. Per 38 The Spot.

Hornets don’t look like the undefeated #11 team in the country so far

I don't know how this score could be only 9-7 at the half with NW handing turnovers 3 times in the red zone for ESU ... 6 turnovers total for NW. Honestly, this NW offense has looked liked they are playing against themselves instead of playing against this ESU team. Hotshot ESU QB Gundy hit only 28.5% of his passes putting the ball in the air 21 times .... and one interception. This game for these Bearcats has once again been all about the NW defense ... so far. Sturdy needs to turn his offense loose and quit running his usual bleak offense. Hate calling out players, and I won't, but we have an obvious leak with our O Line.

NW just completed their third series on offense in the 3rd Q. Just over 5 minutes left. Just to say, the first two plays NW ran starting this quarter ended up with procedure calls. That first series ended badly. Same with the next two. I don't think NW has gotten past their own 20-yd line after three offensive series. Sturdy.

Nice. For those students who have ... and did, attend this Family Day Weekend game have decided that they must have had better things to do after halftime. Over 50% of the student East Grandstand has left after halftime. Again, the score is 9-7. Better things to do? Miss the days when Coach T was coaching Bearcat football ... and when he was the NW A.D. Make no mistake, I really love what Rich Wright has done for Bearcat football. Defensive genius. But, I give him coward points as a HC when it comes to doing the right thing for Bearcat football and doing what needs to be done with an OC and an offensive line coach. GO BEARCATS, dammit!!!

NW held ESU out of the endzone after a 1st down at the 1. Meanwhile the NW 0 earned 2 1st downs and burned a TO to miss a 55 yd FG to end 3rd Qtr

So are we playing to win or back to playing not to lose?

Holy dear God ... start of the 4th Qtr and after the MIAA Network break, they return the game and we get an incredible view of the fans in the East Grandstand ... maybe 328 people. Nice. Thank God for the ESU fans being in the mix.

Maybe the students think they’ve seen this game before?
