For the record, no one was blaming NSU for the conference struggles. We just said you didn’t bring anything to the conference in football, and much of the other sports, other than a warm body to beat up on. You weren’t making anyone better. Now go on, go play your crappy schedule against winless teams so you can have “something” to tell your boosters.

When I started this thread back in September, I was concerned that there were no elite teams in the MIAA this year. Only a few very good teams, a lot of good teams, and one bad team (my MOSO Lions). I think the last two weeks verified my concerns of no elite teams in the MIAA this year. As a league, we should be embarrassed by the last two weeks ... especially yesterday. How can you give up 78 in a playoff game? As bad as the MOSO defense was, we never gave up over 70 this year! I believe the MIAA needs to get back to playing a tougher, more physical style of football. If not, we'll have to get used to the ass-whoopings in the playoffs like the last two weeks. We're no longer the SEC of D2 ... but more like the Big 12 or former Pac 12.

these things run in cycles. the key is that the league is full of programs that are trying, there just aren't a ton of proven commodities beyond ad (& even that was at a different place with a different staff) at the moment but that will change - it'll cycle back around eventually.
but yes atm collectively it blows.Go Bearcats!

But you did mention something that will change everything I don't know how that is the revenue sharing because they're only going to have 105 people on the roster that will make things a little bit more interesting but it'll take four or five years before that starts trickling down. That's not the core of the problem for the MIAA it's just one of many.

Why would WU leave? They’ve had playoff success in the last decade and are generally competitive in other sports. What is MOSO bringing the conference in football? Either basketball teams? They’ve got Baseball I guess. A sort of competitive track team?
They bring more to the conference than most notice.
