It's truly hard to get recognized when your team only won 2 conference games. MOSO and WU have very few names on 1 or 2 either.

These lists are voted on by the coaches, so hard to say they are garbage when they're the ones having to gameplan.

The kid Demands A double team. Depending on how bad you need that yard, he will require a triple team. 320 lbs and still has managed to make 35+ tackles a year for 3 years. 41 this year.6 of them Tfls for 19 yards.

The evolution of Jack Barkley at Pitt has been fun to watch.

He basically played ST's for 2 years, ST and some relief LB for a year before he got his chance to start.

His first year or 2, he was all aggression. They had to drag him off the field after most returns because he would be in a pile trying to kill someone, or on the opposing sidelines trying to bite their coaching staff. Now he's a real leader directing traffic on the field, being the cool head in post whistle situations, and basically being an assistant DC on the field.

If we win Saturday I have no doubt it will be on his back. Hoping he can stay healthy the entire game. One person shouldn't make that much of a difference bit we will 100% lose if he isn't impacting the game or in the game

We shouldn’t complain. I was shocked UCO got 19 mentions. Clearly the 10-1 season forced the league office hand.

I was pleased to see Myles Menges (FHSU) get DPOTY. Sure others may have had more tackles or sacks, but across-the-board his production was impressive. More than anything it's how he performed at the most crucial moments during a respective series or game in general. The opposing coaches recognized that.

Tigers needed a sack or to put pressure on an offense, Menges came up big constantly. Many times forcing fumbles or knocking down passes. Not to mention, it was not easy getting to the outside on him either when teams ran the ball.
