Spring Football Games

Missouri Southern is having their spring game Friday April 11 beginning at 5:00. They will be playing against East Central. It will begin with some competitive drills between the two teams before moving on to a full scrimmage. Sounds very similar to last year's session with McKendree. What are other teams doing this spring? Any news coming out of spring practices?

UNK has a scrimmage at Sioux Falls this Saturday and a spring game on the 26th.

QB battle between redshirt freshman Donovyn Omolo and Southern Utah transfer, Jordan Pachot, will be interesting to follow. He also played at Missouri State prior to Southern Utah.

Pitt should have a QB battle going too. 3 transfers, a RSF, and a true Frosh. I think only 1 has any college game experience to speak of.

If I had to guess, I'd say it will come down to last year's backup Abram Scholting (R-So.) and Daron Bryden (R-Jr.) who transferred from Emporia State and Stony Brook before that. Brenden Bush (R-Jr.) from the JUCO ranks and Kenneth Smith (R-Fr.) are the other two on the spring roster.
