I recall they had a big estate fight. I think the family was already planning the fight before he died?

SLC scheduling. Each SLC team plays 9 games in the Conference and two OOC. There is a rotation every third year. ACU dropped Lamar and picked up Nicholls State in the last rotation.

At least they now have the TAMUC DC, so no more 66-0 drubbings out of the gate to start the season.

They have PLENTY of $$. But here in Texas, Catholic schools are NOT big into sports. Academics rule.

Plus, what private school blows away the State schools consistently in football?????

Yeah, they are an imposing presence in D1, aren't they?

Fans of teams in the LSC who want to move up to D1 should learn from their examples.

At the FCS level Samford, Villanova, Furman, Wofford, and Elon are all in various preseason top 25 rankings. Richmond, Villanova and Furman have all won FCS/1AA titles.
