The game has been cancelled. This will be huge for either MSU or TAMUC. It was easily within the realm of possibilities for Commerce to drop this game and the Tarleton game, giving them three losses. Midwestern will only have nine games. Tarleton (next week) is the biggest obstacle to an undefeated season. Commerce still has to play Tarleton and Angelo.

Games get cancelled all the time. This is more common than most people realize.

Pretty sure Pueblo stayed further away than that for their playoff game in 2015. They managed to make it work. This is a bit strange.

The Athletic Director at North Texas was the AD at Northwest Missouri when NW beat MSU in the playoffs in 2011. He's a great guy.
