6th year as D1 and only 2nd year eligible, the SingSongs won the whole damn thing and will go to the NCAA tournament.

Are you not a Wells believer? I'm neutral on the hire. I saw 4 players are suspended, including DeLeon Ward again. I think he should probably be done

The margin was only 35. ACU scored a total of 44 points, which is actually pretty good considering they only scored 13 in the first half!

That being said, they made it there and had a great season.

interesting that both ACU men and women made the NCAAs. That's quite an accomplishment. I would be curious to know what the economic value of a tournament bid to the NCAAs is worth to a school, even if you do get blown out by Kentucky on national network TV on prime time. Versus say winning the D2 national championship.

I am guessing that a blow-out from Kentucky is worth a heck of a lot more.

Other than a couple of seasons, Wells' record overall is very mediocre. He will be the latest in a decades-long line of mediocre at Tech, save the couple of really good years under Leach.

You get a participation ribbon in the form of an extra check. Kind of like non conference game in football when ACU or any other FCS takes a loss against a big boy school. At least this check had to be earned to get it.
